LIVE from Town Hall

I'm on the front lawn of our town hall! It's one of those town festival things with live music and food trucks and crafts vendors. I have jammed myself full with jerk wings and banana pudding. My shoes broke, but they're very old and I knew they wouldn't last much longer. I'm pretty sure they belonged to my grandmother. They're so pretty, ohhhh well.

You just reminded me that recently I had a craving for banana cream pie, and I never got around to making one. Now I have to think about it again.

A piece of the sole was left behind, Cinderella style. Maybe I'll find them again in a thrift store :)

I have several old shoes that are literally disintegrating, aahhh, but they're still pretty cool so I keep them until they give up haha.

Oh, those are some really nice shoes. I'm more partial to black and burgundy, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the pink effect. ;) Besides, any types of embroidered or sequined shoes are automatically the best.

Old shoes are often made well enough that they can be resoled, and a few shoemakers will still do that. It's the uppers that are pretty, so if those are intact, you may be able to get new soles.
